Answer

Sir Nicholas Dodd Beatson Bell was the first Governor of Assam (British occupied). He served from January 03, 1921 to March 02, 1921. If we talk about first Governor after Independence of India, the answer will be Sir Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari. Sir Hydari served as Governor from May 4, 1947 to December 28, 1948.
So, two answers for two scenario:

Maulavi Saiyid Sir Muhammad Saadulla was the first Chief Minister (Premier) of Assam (before independence). It was in 1937, Saadulla was selected as Premier of Assam by British. He served in his post three times. After independence of India, Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi became chief minister of Assam. So, we often refer to him as the first Chief minister of Assam.

O Mur Apunar Dex or O Mur Apunar Desh is the state song or state anthem of Assam, India. The song was written by Lakshminath Bezbaruah. It was actually a poem, first published in Assamese magazine Bahi in the year 1909. The song “O Mur Apunar Dex” was officially adopted as the state song of Assam in the year 1927. The meaning of O Mur Apunar Dex in English is “O my endearing motherland”.

Bihu is a festival in Assam. Assamese people celebrates three different Bihu festivals – Bohag Bihu or Rongali Bihu, Magh Bihu or Bhogali Bihu and Kati Bihu or Kongali Bihu. All the three of them are related to agricultural activities. Bihu dance performed during Bohag Bihu is called Bihu dance and often referred to as simply ‘Bihu’.
