Boroni Fisa O Ayen. Edited by Ganga Charan Kachari, Boroni Fisa O Ayen (Son of the Boros
and its Customary Laws) was the first printed book in Bodo language. It
was published by Habraghat Boro Sanmiloni in the year 1915. Bodo is one of the
22 scheduled languages of India. It is a rich, ancient language, used by Bodo
people of Assam. Boroni Phisa O Ayen was a bi-lingual book, written in Bodo and
Bengali language.

Moamoria Rebellion started in which year?
Answer
In 1769.
Moamoria Rebellion is considered as one of the key reasons of downfall of the
Ahom Kingdom. It was a conflict between Ahom Kings and the Moran people of upper Assam, who were disciple of the Moamara Sattra. Rise of
vaishnavism, Ahom Paik System and internal clash among Ahom royals were the key
reasons of the rebellion. In 1769, the rebels occupied Ahom capital. Though
Ahoms recaptured the capital, the rebellion continued till 1806.

The Battle of Itakhuli. After ascending the throne in 1681, Gadadhar Singha
(Swargadeo Supatpha) devised a plan to retake Guwahati from Mughals. In 1682,
Ahom and Mughals fought the battle of Itakhuli. Ahom army defeated Mughals. The
Fauzdar of Guwahati fled. Mughals were chased back to Manas river. It was the
last battle between Ahom Kingdom and Mughals.

Mir Jumla was a Governor (Subahdar) of Bengal under the Mughal Empire
Aurangzeb. In the year 1662, Mir Jumla captured Garhgaon, the capital city of
Ahom kingdom. But Mughals failed to maintain the hold over the captured Ahom
territory. A large number of Mughal soldiers died due to disease, starvation
and attacks. Mir Jumla finally signed a treaty with Ahom and decided to
retreat. He died on his way back from Assam in 1663.

followed by Ahom rulers of Assam. It was the base of agrarian structure in the
Ahom Kingdom. Paik System was first introduced by Momai Tamuli Barbarua, an
intelligent administrator and the commander-in-chief of Ahom army. After it’s
birth in the year 1609, Paik System continued to evolve and proved to be one of
the powerful administrative tools in Ahom kingdom.

Assam Elementary Education Act was passed in the year 1962. It’s goal was to
make provisions for proper management and control of elementary education
system and also provide for compulsory and free elementary education in the
state. Assam Elementary Education Act defined elementary education as
upto the standard or class eighth (VIII). In order to help government in
development, expansion and management of elementary education in Assam, the act provided for constitution of the State Board
for Elementary Education.

the state and passed the Assam Basic Education Act in year 1954. The Act
entrusted more power on the state Government. It provided for constitution of

various matters. Assam Basic Education Act, 1954 also recognized different
types of schools as basic schools.

Assam Primary Education Act was enacted in the year 1926. The goal of the act
was to reorganize and ensure compulsory primary education in Assam. The Assam Primary Education Act, 1926 was applicable

the Assam Primary Education Act of 1926 failed to uplift the state of primary
education in Assam.

Who shifted the Capital of Ahom Kingdom to Rangpur?

Swargadeo Rudra Singha. In 1702-03, Ahom King Rudra Singha shifted his capital
from Gargaon
to a place called Meteka, which is about 5 km away from modern say Sibsagar
city. Singha named his capital Rangpur. Apart from being the Capital of Ahom
Kingdom, Rangpur also served as a military base of the Kingdom. Rangpur
retained it’s status as Ahom capital till year 1794.

Society was registered under Societies Registration Act on 11th Nov 2011.
The Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission Society is responsible for
implementing the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) in Assam, the North Eastern state of India. The
goal is to reduce poverty in rural areas by creating self managed community
institutions of the participating rural households and enhancing income through
promoting sustainable livelihoods.
